OK so there's nothing "Enduro" about a bike with curly bars, but we've brought a few Fairdale bikes into the shop, because, well, Taj Mihelich!
Mike's been riding a Fairdale Rockit gravel bike as his training bike, and Fairdale's links to BMX are solid. Fairdale is headed up by Taj, and it's part of the same company that owns Sunday, G-Sport and Odyssey.
Most of the Fairdale range are cool bikes for people who just want a nice bike. This is the only drop bar bike in the range, but there are a couple of bikes with BMX style that are cool for cruising around town and a Toy Machine collab with a built-in skate rack. There's no aspect of these bikes that has the slightest inkling of the competitive, Strava loving kind of thing, they're just bikes to have a good time on.
The Weekender Nomad has a full 4130 Chromo frame and fork, the tyres are high volume and roll on 650B rims. All but the size small frame can run 700c rims. This would be a very cool bike to ride to work on, do gravel training rides on, or got the pub on...
Highlights of the spec include Avid BB7 disc brakes and 1x11 drive train.
About Fairdale
There's nothing much enduro about Fairdale, they mostly make chilled out bikes for cruising around on. We're making a special provision for these bikes though, there's too much of our BMX heritage in every one, and maybe you need a pub bike or a training bike?!
Part of the OTX family of brands, which includes Sunday, Odyssey and G-Sport, Fairdale is headed up by Taj Mihelich. If you ever rode BMX, you probably know who he is, if you didn't, he was one of the best riders around in the Etnies "Forward" era - jeans might have got tighter, but his riding is still rad!
Aside from Fairdale, Taj pops up on Pinkbike as an illustrator, and you can see his work in the Fairdale graphics. Somehow Fairdale bikes reflect Taj's personality and that's why we're fans!

Pedals
Since most people would change their pedals from whatever the manufacturer supplied, very few bike manufacturers supply pedals with new bikes.
The good news is we have an awesome selection of both flat and clipless pedals!
