XC racing has changed a lot in the last few years, tracks are still fast, but the courses include more and more technical features.  The new Yeti ASR is right at the cutting edge of bikes built for speed and gnar, with some hard pedalling thrown in.

Head angles might still sound steep by enduro standards, but for a fast, light, all-out XC race bike, 66.5° is slack. Suspension travel has crept up to 120mm front and back. The ASR frame also includes two sets of bottle cage mounts, and Yeti have steered away from their trademark Infinity link in the interests of light weight.

There are three complete bike specs available, plus frame only.

ASR C2: ROCKSHOX SID 3P fork, SIDLuxe Select+ Shock, SRAM GX Eagle Drivetrain

ASR T3: ROCKSHOX SID 3P Ultimate fork, SIDLuxe Select+ Shock, SRAM XO Eagle Transmission Drivetrain

ASR Ultimate: ROCKSHOX SID Ultimate Flight Attendant Fork, SIDLuxe Ultimate Flight Attendant Shock, SRAM XX SL Eagle Powermeter Drivetrain
