This information is intended as a guide only.
Cycle To Work is a Government Initiative to encourage cycling to work. The idea is that by cycling to work, you get fitter and healthier, and at the same time reduce congestion and improve air quality.
In simplest terms, your employer pays for the bike, and you hire it from them through salary deductions. At the end of the hire period, the employer can sell you the bike. (Until the bike is paid for, you hire it from your employer, so don't get fired).
Your employer might administer the scheme themselves, or use a third party like one of the following:
GoGeta
Vivup
Green Commute Initiative
Cycle Solutions
My Benefits World
Cyclescheme
If your employer doesn't offer Cycle To Work as a benefit, you can send them this employer information from the Government that outlines how it all works.

The Trek Rail+ 9.7 is a carbon enduro e-MTB built for your biggest adventures. With 160 mm front and rear travel, the Rail+ is ready to rip through the rough, while a powerful Bosch Performance CX drive system makes long climbs and fast laps a breeze. It packs in adjustable geometry that lets you customise your bike for how and where you ride, a massive battery that keeps you going lap after lap, and a Shimano drivetrain that delivers quick shifts you can count on for the long miles.
Size Small Wheel Size: Small size runs 27.5 wheels front and rear. Specs are exactly the same, just with a 27.5 front wheel.
Bosch Performance Line CX motor: 100Nm upgrade ready - Bosch Performance Line CX sets the standard for eMTB performance with 85Nm of torque out of the box, but can be tuned all the way up to 100Nm and 750W of power using the Bosch eBike Flow app. The Bosch smart system also has intelligent eMTB mode with Extended Boost that automatically adjusts the amount of assist based on the terrain.
New RIB 2.0: Removable Integrated Battery (RIB 2.0) makes it easy to remove your battery for more convenient charging or travelling, and you don’t have to worry about dropping it thanks to a secondary safety catch.
Bosch Mini Remote: The compact, ergonomic Mini Remote lets you easily change assist level, activate Walk mode, or turn on optional lights, all without moving your hand off the handlebar. Plus, it's wireless and connects with your System Controller via Bluetooth
Mixed wheel size :You get a 29" front wheel for monster truckin' over stuff, with a smaller 27.5 wheel out back for getting rowdy.
Adjust the suss for full send: Adjust the leverage rate with just a flip of a chip. Ride it in the Less progressive setting for a plusher feel, perfect for rugged trails with square-edge bumps. Flip it to More progressive when you're hitting big features and don’t want to bottom-out, or when you want to run a coil shock.
Bosch System Controller: The System Controller gives you a quick overview of your assist mode and battery level without distracting you from the ride. It's integrated into the top tube so it's out of the way but still easy to see with LED indicators. It also connects to the eBike Flow app via Bluetooth for accessing ride stats and performing system updates.
Active Braking Pivot: Active Braking Pivot allows our engineers to tune how the suspension reacts to acceleration and braking forces independently. That means you get more confident control when you need it most.
Bosch eBike Flow app: The new eBike Flow app turns your ride into a personalised experience. Use it to customise your motor's assist behaviour, track your ride stats and integrate your data with apps like Strava and Apple Health. There's even handy features like navigation and service reminders.
Shimano XT: Shimano XT is the original mountain bike groupset and trusted by generations of mountain bikers around the world. Whatever the trail, wherever you ride, XT is your solution for mountain biking today. Reliable shifting. Superior braking. Intuitive maintenance. XT is the high performance workhorse you can count on.
