Cycle To Work is a Government Initiative to encourage cycling to work. The idea is that by cycling to work, you get fitter and healthier, and at the same time reduce congestion and improve air quality.

In simplest terms, your employer pays for the bike, and you hire it from them through salary deductions. At the end of the hire period, the employer can sell you the bike. (Until the bike is paid for, you hire it from your employer, so don't get fired).

Your employer might administer the scheme themselves, or use a third party like one of the following:

GoGeta
Vivup
Green Commute Initiative
Cycle Solutions
My Benefits World
Cyclescheme

If your employer doesn't offer Cycle To Work as a benefit, you can send them this employer information from the Government that outlines how it all works.

We offer free UK delivery on all bikes & ebikes except Trek, unless bought through a Ride To Work Scheme.

We don't deliver complete bikes or ebikes outside the UK.

We pride ourselves on providing great service, impartial advice and the best knowledge gained from really using the products we sell, but we appreciate that price is important too. If you find anything we sell on our website or store cheaper elsewhere, please tell us and we'll aim to match it - even if it's a sale price.

If you do manage to find an item cheaper elsewhere, please use the form below to enter a few details about the product. A member of our friendly team will then make sure it is an identical item and qualify the competitor's price – if it’s genuine and conforms to the points below, we’ll try our very best to match or beat it.

You can call us on 01330 828562 or click here for our store contact details.

  • Product being price matched must be brand new and the same model, year, colour and size, backed with the same guarantees as our stock.
  • Price guarantee is only applicable against any competitor to 20Twenty Store in the Mainland UK. This includes any UK websites but excludes auction sites, market stalls, private sales, liquidation sales or any typographical errors.
  • We do not price match to private resellers, e.g. Amazon or eBay.
  • The competitor must have the product in stock and available for immediate purchase and delivery.
  • We must be able to verify the offer with the competitor.

Marin's park/DH/Freeride bike shares some adjustability with the new Alpine Trail, allowing adjustable chainstay length/BB height/head angle thanks to a flip chip.

Out the box, the Quake has a super steady 62.3-degree head angle matched to 440mm chainstays, but change the flip chip for snapper 62.9 degree HT and 430mm chainstays. You can run the quake in any mix of 27.5 and 29" wheels you like - change the lower headset cup to one that's 10-15mm taller, and you can run the Quake with 27.5 wheels front and back. The rear axle is standard Boost 148 so you might even have a spare back wheel you can try out without forking out for a new one.

ZS56 headset cups allow for more adjustment. A basic Boxxer fork offers as much bang-for-your-buck as possible, if your budget allows we can upgrade to a Charger 3.1 damper. Proper DH tyres, GX DH drivetrain and Maven brakes are all specced.

We're always impressed by the spec Marin manage to put together at any price point, and this bike is no exception. You could happily pick this bike up and take it straight out for Fort Bill laps without wanting to change anything.
